"Patchwork is a two-player strategy game where you compete to create the most beautiful — and high-scoring — quilt on a 9x9 personal game board. Using buttons as currency, players take turns selecting from available fabric patches arranged in a circle. Each patch costs time and buttons to place, so careful planning and spatial awareness are key as you try to fit pieces together and maximize your board's coverage.

As players progress along the time track, they earn income based on the buttons sewn into their quilt, collect special 1x1 patches, and race to complete a 7x7 section for a valuable bonus tile. The game ends when both players reach the center of the time track, and final scores are calculated by counting remaining buttons and subtracting points for empty spaces. Simple to learn but full of strategic depth, Patchwork is a clever puzzle for two."
